xz rollback to 5.2.9

Dear all 

I have submitted a few minutes ago 5.6.0r529, which is based on xz 5.2.9, and 
it should appear very soon in the repository. 

@Dago
Could you please upgrade on the build farm xz to 5.6.0r529?

@all others
This might break ABI. Please verify if you dependency still works with the 
rollback.

are depending on the liblzma library [3]. 

I have released today the version 5.6.0r529 to the repository, which is based 
on the 5.2.9. This is the last release before Jian Tian got active in the xz 
project [4] (Thanks to Jeffrey Walton for the hint). Be aware that the 5.2.9 
release might contain other security related issues. 

The downgrade might break ABIs to other packages and we are currently 
verifying, if any packages are affected by the downgrade.

I am constantly monitoring the current development about xz and I will update 
the package accordingly.

Thanks for the hint. In this case, I am going back to 5.2.9. 5.2.9 does contain 
security issues, but at least it should not have any code from Jian Tian.

Build error on Solaris 10

This is not a solution for me. When switched to "desktop" layout wheel works
fine for switching desktops, in "desktop" layout it is not working. Switching
back and forth dosn't resolve this issue. It might be, though, some simple rc
problem  since I've upgraded from Ubuntu 20.04 LTS to Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and got
this problem.

I’ve upgraded expat to 2.4.7 and I have also removed the -DXML_POOR_ENTROPY 
option. New package was pushed to the catalog today.

I’m not an expert here, but you use our build recipe to build it on Solaris 11:

libevent2_1_7-2.1.12 CSWlibevent2-1-7 

In order not to break the packages that are linked against CSWlibevent2-0-5, I 
will leave CSWlibevent2-0-5 in the catalog as it is.

Remove old library

I’ve updated today unbound to the most recent version and this version comes 
also with a new version of libunbound. The new version in the catalog is now 
libunbound8, but libunbound2 also in the catalog.

How do I get rid of the old version? I guess the easiest is to set a conflict 
to libunbound2, right?

Saya punya 2 buah file, Kita sebut saja File A dan B. 
File A ini kepngin saya lookup salah satu data dari kolom yang ada di file B 
..sayang nya kedua file ini tidak mempunyai data kolom untuk dijadikan key. 
Hanya satu yg sama yaitu kolom "Nama Orang". Namun kolom nama itupun bisa jadi 
pengetikannya berbeda untuk orang yang sama. 
Mohon para suhu kira kira cara yg terbaik untuk solusi di atas...Apakah pakai 
formula atauentahlah bagaimana caranya.Atas bantuan nya saya ucapkan terima

-hotspot on, via data selular.. jadi kalau zoom, laptop tethering via data
selular
-disaat bersamaan wifi juga on, jadi untuk mi 9 nya sendiri, koneksi nya
dari wifi

di samsung m51:
hotspot data selular on, wifi nya harus off.. jadi laptop tethering ke
hotspot (selular) , koneksi hape nya pun dari selular.. masalah nya tiap
kali sms atau telp masuk, koneksi tethering jadi terganggu

idenya, mau ganti m51 ini ke redmi note 10 pro aja kalau wifi dan hotspot
bs on bareng.. dan sptnya batere meskipun gk sebadak m51 cukup dipake
seharian

kalau seri Mi kan bisa, untuk Redmi note 10 pro ini gimana ya (belum pernah
pegang Redmi)..

*kalau di Samsung yg sy pake skrg, tethering (mobile hotspot via mobile
data) gak bisa nyala bersamaan wifi (wifi kudu off)

i followed the tutorial step-27 about hp-fem, using the similar constructor 
with dim = 3
for (unsigned int deg=1; deg <= max_fe_degree; ++deg)
  {
fe_collection.push_back(FE_Q(deg));
quadrature_collection.push_back(QGauss(deg+1));
face_quadrature_collection.push_back(QGauss(deg+1));
  }

I tried to look into the fe_collection.n_components(), it yields 1.
is that what you meant?

i am getting this error while calculating the local cell matrix for my hp

yes, it is solved now. Thanks Peter. 

In deal.ii 9.2.0 the implementation detail of FESeries::Fourier constructor 
can take the first argument  of std::vector, meanwhile in 
deal.ii 9.1 only unsigned int.

That does not depend on the country. It depends on your ISP.

alright, suppose i have a box that divided into two regions, and each 
region has different elastic constant (anisotropy material). 
Perhaps the idea is when calculating the cell_matrix, inside the for-loop 
there is a function for choosing in which elastic constant to be used 
depending on the region. 

I already have the elastic solver written specifically for one elastic 
constant.  
Do you have any hint where should i start?

Would anyone give me a hint on how to implement the polycrystal problem, 
i.e. more than one grain boundary?
I already have the tensor mechanics solver written in deal.ii, but now it 
needs to be extended solveing also polycrystal problem.

i have question regarding the kdtree class in deal ii, though it has become 
a deprecated class, but for my particular problem it might be helpful. 
suppose i have a class

the question is how we can get a get function to the return the private 
kdtree, e.g. A::get_kdtree() ? i still could not figure out what is the 
type of the KDTree object.

i read a documentation we can use array_type as a parameter construction, 
but still i aml confused how to use it.

Thanks for the suggestion Jon.  We added org.quartz-scheduler as a dependency 
to our project and configured it in web.xml.  With that, we could get a second 
Scheduler started and use JobStoreTX.

However, our code schedules task using javax.ejb.Schedule annotation, e.g.: 

@Schedule(minute = "*", hour = "*")
public void schedulerTest() {
LOGGER.info("Entered schedulerTest");
}

and this still uses the Scheduler started by TomEE and not the one we want. 

AFAIK,  @Schedule does not have any parameter to specify which Scheduler to 
use.  

How can we make this to use the Scheduler we want?

We would like to store Quartz scheduling information within a relational 
database. We tried different configuration options to use our own properties 
file instead of TomEE's default, but could not get it to work.

Here are the things we tried:

(1) We defined the system property 'org.quartz.properties', e.g. did 
"-Dorg.quartz.properties=/tmp/quartz.properties".
(2) Since TomEE shades org.quartz, we also tried 
"-Dorg.apache.openejb.quartz.properties=/tmp/quartz.properties".
(3) We also tried configuring this via web.xml file by adding:

/tmp/quartz.properties
  


In all these cases, even though we set org.quartz.jobStore.class = 
org.quartz.impl.jdbcjobstore.JobStoreTX (or 
org.apache.openejb.quartz.jobStore.class = 
org.apache.openejb.quartz.impl.jdbcjobstore.JobStoreTX) and adjust all 
parameters as documented at Quartz User Guide,  TomEE is initializing 
RAMJobStore instead of JobStoreTX.  Also, there is no indication in the logs

Web & Mail Server

Hello,

A memory caused an outage of our T2000, which hosts the mail and web server of 
the OpenCSW project. Unfortunately the memory error was so bad, that the T2000 
refused to pass the POST and I was not able to boot the machine.

The faulty bank was replaced this afternoon and all the services should be up 
and running again. Please let me know if something is not working as expected.

Sorry I just had time to make these experiments.

Having the following (setting transacted = false) did not fix the problem if we 
do not use try-with-resources:

final Session session = connection.createSession(false, 
Session.AUTO_ACKNOWLEDGE);


On the other hand, when we added transactionSupport=none to resources.xml, we 
could dequeue only 1 message, which is weird  (at each server restart, we 
dequeue 1 message even though there are more message in the queue.  Reverting 
the code back to try-with-resources  makes the server dequeue all the messages)


Hope that would help you guys find out where the problem is.

We do not have a tomee.xml file, we use resources.xml file instead.  I pasted 
its contents below.

BTW, my previous redacted code snippet omitted the following 2 lines from the

Thank you very much for your suggestion Jon,  adding 
connection.createSession(), session.createProducer(), and 
session.createConsumer() in the try-with-resources block  make things work 
again!


Is this a bug with TomEE 8.0.0?   Because Connection.close()’s Javadoc states 
the following:  There is no need to close the sessions, producers, and 
consumers of a closed connection.

And our original code, that did not close/auto-close Session, MessageProducer,

Problem with MessageConsumers under TomEE 8.0.0

We recently upgraded our staging environment from TomEE 8.0.0-M3 to 8.0.0 and 
things started to break.  

After some troubleshooting, we realized that we cannot dequeue JMS messages 
from our ActiveMQ server using MessageConsumers.


We dequeue messages in 2 different ways:  We use MessageDriven beans for most 
of our queues.  But with some others, we periodically poll by creating a

GNU parallel bug

Hello,

We started having GNU Parallel crashing on our production server with the 
following message:

parallel: This should not happen. You have found a bug.
Please contact  and include:
* The version number: 20160222
* The bugid: loadavg_invalid_content: /home/ec2-user/.parallel/tmp/loadavg-:

* The command line being run
* The files being read (put the files on a webserver if they are big)

If you get the error on smaller/fewer files, please include those instead.


We usually put a few hundreds commands into a file and then run them with 
something like: 

parallel -a commands --load 200% --noswap {}


Note that the same user may be running multiple parallel’s on the same server 
at the same time (they are triggered by external events).  I hope a User is not 
limited to running only 1 parallel process at a given time.


Any help will be greatly appreciated.  In advance, thank you very much for any 
clues in resolving this.
