hi all,
have another newbie question for all of you.
one of the primary reasons i got fink was to get xemacs, because i like it as an editor/compiler so much, especially for java.
so i load xemacs via fink 0.7.2 (using fink commander 0.5.3), and i can edit java just fine, but when it comes to
don't know if this helps, but... i'm running open os x's port of gimp 2.0 just fine with fink and such.
i am running os x 10.3.5 panther on a g4 1.33 mhz powerbook aluminum w/ 1 gig ram. i have fink 0.7.2, fink commander 0.5.3, apple's x11 user developer that came with the current xcode tools.
hi,
i just downloaded fink to install it and run with X11 on mac os x and XDarwin (installed to switchboot in another partition).
however, the read me file for fink 0.70 says not to run if i've installed open office os x's GIMP 2.0 installation (i assume that's because it installs oroborus,
via fink now as we speak. ;o)
