[libreoffice-users] connecting bibliography to document problem
hi everybody! i have some problem with bibliography editing in my libreoffice document. if i open document i have bibliography database connected to it and placed in standard place in .config/ directory. if i trying to open menu View->Data Source i can see and edit data in bibliography. Also i have my bibliography in registered databases. But when i trying edit data in bibliography through menu Tools->Bibliography database - i retrieve empty sheet for table of database. And also when i trying to add reference from bibliograhy through menu Insert->Indexes and tables->Bibliography Entry i can not add entries from the database. Corresponding "short name" combobox is not filled with items. It is empty. How i can connect my bibliograhy to my document? Any registered Base document connected to any tabular data source can be used in the same ways as bibliographic database or as a source for serial letters, label printing or calculation models regardless of the exact type of source. So the main question is: Where do you store your bibliographic data right now? Then you may be able to connect a Base document to this data source. I have several documents and i want keep databases created from zerofor each of them. I want create new databases and keep them separately each from other. How i can do it? thats my main question. Good luck! Everything is working properly. Problem is only for next: i should reinstall skype every time when i do apt-get dist-upgrade. Despite skype is working ok in time of installation of skype i have message about some error. hi everybody I have ADATA 1Terbyte disk with FAT32 filesystem.And i cannot write and erase files on that disk. I cannot remind when this problem arise. What does it mean? Speed of running of any application should be more high under optiran. hi everybody! i have installed debian version 6.0.2 on computer without internet connection. Also i have full set of DVD with 7.2.0 version. So - i want to upgrade the system. Im going to perform next steps: 1) remove all contents of /etc/apt/sources.list 2) add every DVD by apt-cdrom add command 3) #apt-get update #apt-get dist-upgrade Is this sequence of command correct (at least theoretically)? Really? I've always needed an xorg.conf file to allow the use of the nVidia driver. Yes man! its true. For example, if i reload system to my old kernel - everything is ok. And i have not any xorg.conf. i should do rectification. I am talking about system on notebook with intel and nvidia videocards. For running applications on nvidia card i use optiran command from shell. As for stopping working after upgrade, you are aware that the nVidia module needs to be recompiled after a kernel update? It's why I use the *-dkms nvidia kernel modules, as that way, it's all taken care of for you. jerks in net connections
hi all! Some time ago i get next problem. Net connections start work byby jerks. In case of ssh session it look like this: i can put my command in bash shell but some time (from 10 to 20 seconds) screen is frozen. After that: input and output of the session for some time work as usual. I have no idea how i can diagnose this problem. What i should check? Top utility show that there are no process that takes resources. Loading on processor is not high. Netstat -lpn doesnt show any load to ethernet card. ifconfig doesnt show lost packets on the card. (a) it means you are in GNOME3, not GNOME2, just not in GNOME Shell ok This is really unusual in recent versions of GNOME. What is your GNOME version? #gnome-shell --version GNOME Shell 3.4.2 GNOME3 used to go into fallback if it detected unaccelerated video, but GNOME 3.6 has software acceleration [llvmpipe] which makes Shell work on the vast majority of hardware. i use latest version of any programs on the computer because i make software upgrade frequently. I dont know what you mean about unaccelerated video, but before last upgrade i logged to gnome shell without problem. посоветуйте видеок арточку
Здравствуйте! Собрался я новый компьютер собрать. В железе я не очень силен. Поэтому прошу, чтобы посоветовали какую видеокарту лучше всего приобрести. Основное пожелание - чтобы OpenGL поддерживался + побольше расширений к нему (имеются ввиду шейдеры). Ну и чтобы можно было с наименьшими проблемами поставить и настроить xgl, compiz, beryl. После правки xorg.conf (как здесь мне посоветовали)при старте гнома выбросилось сообщение - какие настройки юзать: иксовые или гномовские. Выбрал иксовые. Как видите заработало. Значит гномовские где-то есть все-таки. Меню Система-Администрирование почти полностью исчезло. Остались только пункты Partition Editor и Printing. Добавил пункт Менеджер обновлений через апт инстал. Выхода в сеть - нету. на прилагаемом дике к материнке есть инструкции и драйвер /driver/uli526x.c source codec c file действую по инструкции: я бы пошел другим путем. Если драйвер открытый, то искал бы я его уже в ядре. lspci -v в студию! встроенная сетев ая карта
здравствуйте! помогите разобраться с проблемой. проинсталлировал этч на машине, где встроенная сетевая и видео карты. Выхода в сеть - нету. на прилагаемом дике к материнке есть инструкции и драйвер /driver/uli526x.c source codec c file действую по инструкции: копирую исходник драйвера uli526x.c to /usr/src/linux-2.6.x/drivers/net/tulip/, и модифицирую такие файлы: 1.)Kconfig (по инструкции вообще-то надо править Kconfig.in но его нет) правлю по инструкции его ну и конечно 2.)Makefile добавляю согласно указаниям к Makefile такую строчку obj-$(CONFIG_ULI526X)+= uli526x.o далее компилирую ядро. компилирую модули. и инсталлирую как модуль (все по инструкции) ... Step 3: make modules make modules_install Step 4: rmmod tulip modprobe uli526x сеть все равно не видна. Может причина в разных именах Kconfig.in и Kconfig? то есть инструкция устаревшая? И на этче надо как-то по другому этот драйвер прикручивать к системе? Какую информацию предоставить, чтобы уточнить мой вопрос? проблем быть не должно: apt-get install stardict а потом идешь на http://stardict.sourceforge.net/ выкачиваешь словарь (там хоть какие есть) и просто распаковываешь в /usr/share/stardict/dic пропиши его на запуск при старте системы и сможешь получать перевод слов из любого приложения при выделении этих слов -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. не грузится свеж есобранное ядро в э тче
здравствуйте. ситуация такова. Проинсталлирован у меня etch на amd64 с инсталляционного cd. Решил установить ядро посвежее. Выкачал ванильное ядро 2.6.22. Проинсталлировал его по мануалу. Конфиг взял дефолтный. Который и есть у меня после инсталляции ситемы. С которым у меня грузится система. Вроде бы все ок. Но при загрузке ругается: ... waiting for root file system ... и после сравнительно долгого ожидания выбрасывается приглашение: (initramfs) В гугле по этому поводу много написано (в смысле waiting for root file system), но возникает это приглашение в очень разнообразных случаях. И я не нашел чтобы такое было после сборки ядра в этче. На другой машине (Celeron и тоже установлен etch) аналогичные действия проходят без неожиданностей. Система грузится с новым ядром и изначальным конфигом. В какую сторону копать? Между этими компьютерами, кроме архитектуры, есть еще различие. На amd я систему инсталил без lvm.
