Just been reading up on this. The Zoom has mono XLR sockets. To get stereo you
need to pair 1 and 2 together. Thus your adapter needs to consist of a mini
socket to 2 XLR plugs.

All electrical circuits make a noise and this is true for microphones. The Rode
NT1A is said to be the quietest mic on the market. It is outside the human
hearing range. So anything recorded with it is not contaminated by the noise
floor.

re the rode mic,
i got it from amazon
its a rode NT1-A
it comes with a pop shield,
a mic cable,
and a shockmount.
did u have to amplify the mic to make it work.
