Re: [all-audio] Audio From HDMI To VGA Adapter
I went to volume control like you described and HDMI is not there, no screen reader is finding it as well, it is not working with anything even when I plug micro usb to power it, I never connected a monitor in it yet. Original message: Hi, I have several of these. In no case have I needed to plug a monitor into the device. It just acts like a soundcard, to set it up on Windows, go to the playback devices, either through right-clicking the volume control in the system tray and clicking "playback devices" or through the rundll32 command, whatever you usually use. You should find the HDMI as one of the choices, though it may have a different name which includes things like "display audio" or something like that. You can then select it as default if it isn't already. Alternatively, you can choose the HDMI sound device from whatever audio playing application/screen reader you want to use through it. I don't know about TV boxes, this depends on the box, I'm afraid. Most will simply start using the device as soon as it is connected, but if there are several HDMI out ports on the box, it may require setup. Re: [all-audio] long-range wireless microphone
CCrane - like many small businesses - have a reputation to uphold in more ways than one so - if I were after a Wireless microphone solution - they would be my first port of call. I've bought many radio sets from them in the past and when I've had problems CCrane have always worked with me to find a solution - shipping a product back to CCrane from Australia is not always a clever nor a cheap option . - I'm actually going to contact CCrane on a quote for a Wi-Fi antenna system here. I already have one of their wide-band scanner antennas which is absolutely superb and I have the CCrane AM Twin Coil external antenna which can be used with any AM radio, another great product. -Original Message- From: all-audio@groups.io On Behalf Of Hamit Campos Sent: Thursday, 18 October 2018 9:34 AM To: all-audio@groups.io Subject: Re: [all-audio] long-range wireless microphone Yeah I get what you mean. Re: [all-audio] long-range wireless microphone
Hi there! Have you thought about contacting Crane about this? They’ve moved into this field now - makes common sense I guess given they’re into radios and antenna - thus they may be able to advise you on what might be best for your particular needs and situation. > On 17 Oct 2018, at 11:07 pm, Aman Singer wrote: > > Hi all, > > > >I realize we usually talk about audio output here, but there > are a good many people with expertise in audio more generally and I would be > most grateful for some help in at least narrowing options.
