You don't'
Mike: It did; for whatever reason, I didn't think to look there (it was
right in front of me) just didn't think to look on the desk top to see if it
had put an icon there, but there it was!

Hi Tom just saw your message regarding MP3 Direct Cut.
When you installed it, did it put an icon on your desktop? Most programs
will either ask us if we want to create an icon for the desktop or sometimes
they'll just give you one automaticly.
Mike
Do you like to shake your groove with disco,?
You don't' need to uset he context menu, for future reference.
Just hit ctrl-shift-enter and boom...you are elevated.

Highlight that .exe file in your downloads folder then hit the applications
key then arrow to run as administrator. Enter on that and see if it will let
you install it.

Hello list: Okay.I believe I've solved my MP3 Direct Cut problem! I did
find "run as administrator".that did the trick! But the next thing I had
just a bit of trouble with was.okay.where's the stinking program? Well it
was right there on the desk top! So I think maybe I'm in business! Thanks
Okay...problem solved (I think) instead of using the file menu, I went to
the applications key, where I found "run as administrator! So my next
question is, how do I find the program? When I type in the name of the
program in the start menu, all it seems to want to do is give me where I can
find
One more thing I forgot to mention (may not be of any importance and you may
already know) is a DOT EXE file.

Hello Dean and list: I'm not seeing that; I highlighted the install file
(am assuming this is what is located in Downloads with the name of the file
(MP3DC236 if this is any help) I really do need to make this thing install
for me, so thanks for any suggestions you may have!

Hafve you tried installing it as administrator? I am still using windows 7
so don't know if they have done away with that in later versions. In Windows
7 on the install file hit the applications key and arrow down to the items
that mentions the administrator.

It won't even let me get that far; it says it cannot find the path; then
says "access denied; then an "OK button." So I click the OK button and get
an extractor error! What now?
