This is a portable MP3 player with a display and speakers along with a FM radio
for under $30 which all my friends can’t stop raving about so we’ll see what
all the fuss is about.

All I can say is that Neal did recommend those but he does point out in the
review of the Zoom H6 I think it is that Whilst Soundevices are good the Zoom
H6 is 10 times cheaper, so read what you will from that.

Yes, I know what you mean about the speakers sound far bigger than they
actually are, a characteristic found in the B P7 I have here, almost sounds
as though I'm listening in an entertainment lounge and it did shock me when I
hadn't listened to the cans for a good while.

No, I don’t own a Sony ICF-SW55 yet but I shell have one shortly.
I did actually own one of these radios around 23 years ago but and I regret
getting rid of it at the time but those days were in different times.
I do remember the SW55 as a fair radio though the thing

That all said an iPhone still lacks the high bit and sampling rates that a
dedicated recorder or even an Android phone can offer.
Last I checked the iPhone could only record up to 48KHZ, enough for voice
