As an example, I keep the Styles & Formatting window docked on the right-hand of Writer. However, if I go to create a presentation, Styles & Formatting very unhelpfully appears in Impress, docked between the window edge and the Tasks docked window. Similarly it appears in both Calc and Draw. Closing/hiding the window in any of those applications causes it to be closed/hidden in the next Writer window that is opened. The behaviour of Navigator is the same. Rather than have these (and other) dockable windows share their docking and visibility states between applications, these states should be tracked by each individual application to avoid UI clutter and user stress. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
