2008 -------
Universal scroll puts a diamond-shaped marker on the screen, and scrolls
according to the mouse (trackball) motion, until canceled.  I activate it by
selecting that option for one of the small buttons on my Logitech trackball.

IIRC, this worked fine under WXP, but I get no response (pointer doesn't change)
under Vista SP1 in OO.o programs.  Works fine in Firefox 3.0.1.
