I cannot work out how to reply to this thread on the message board, so I am replying to you directly by e-mail.

My OS is Windows Vista SP1 on an HP 6715 laptop. Screen resolution is 1680x1050.

Step by step. In Writer or Spreadsheet, I go to Tools Customise. A tabbed dialogue box appears with tab labels 'Menus', 'Keyboard', 'Toolbars', 'Events'. Each one of these tabs produces a window that is too tall to fit on the screen, so I cannot see the bottom of the window, where presumably, there is an 'OK' button to confirm any changes I make. These windows have neither scroll bars nor sizing handles, so there is no way I can make them fit the screen.

By contrast, the Tools Options window has space above and below it, but does not fit the screen horizontally. However, this is not a problem since I can move the window up and down and side to side. A scroll bar and sizing handles would help here too.

I hope this description of my problem is clear and I look forward to your further advice.

Hi rgmarlow,

Which OS are you using? In which OOo version do you discover this issue? And
what's your screen resolution?

I've tested this in DEV300m23 under windows XP with the biggest font size, I
found the window size is no more than 560*560. So if you use a resolution
higher than 640*480, then no need to show scroll bar.

So are you using a 640*480 display ratio?

If not, would you please provide a step by step instruction to reproduce this
issue? Thanks.
