The style sets the font size as A.sdfootnoteanc { font-size: 57% } and then the use of this is <A CLASS="sdfootnoteanc" NAME="sdfootnote1anc" HREF="#sdfootnote1sym"><SUP>1</SUP></A> This makes the link to the footnote almost unreadable. A better layout will be to use the <SUP> tag also in the footnote at the bottom of the page. Suggestion: 1. Change the style CLASS to A.sdfootnoteanc { font-size: 80% } or remove the class 2.
