To comment on the following update, log in, then open the issue: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=97824 Issue #|97824 Summary|Table list does not refresh after changing external db Component|Database access Version|OOo 2.4.1 Platform|PC URL| OS/Version|Windows 2000 Status|UNCONFIRMED Status whiteboard| Keywords| Resolution| Issue type|DEFECT Priority|P3 Subcomponent|none Assigned to|dbaneedsconfirm Reported by|ookev --- Additional comments from oo...@openoffice.org Wed Jan 7 10:55:08 + 2009 --- When connected to an external db, if the user specifies a new external db, the table list is cleared but does not update the GUI with the tables from the new db. The user must then force a GUI update by e.g. clicking on another tab (forms/reports/queries) and then go back to the Tables tab to see the new tables. This may be specific to Microsoft Access databases. 1. Launch Base to start the Database Wizard. 2. Select Connect to an existing database - Microsoft Access and click Next. 3. Browse to an .mdb file and click Next. 4. Select No, do not register the database and clear all checkmarks. 5. Click Finish and an .odb file will be generated. 6. Open the .odb file. 7. Select Edit - Database - Properties. 8. Browse to another .mdb file and click OK. - Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
