Is there any reason the buffer_bytes_max couldn't be increased beyond 128K on
the Intel 8x0 driver? I'm running into overruns on a capture system when it
gets a bit busy.

Yup, snd_gina24 is the driver I'm developing, but it also happens with
snd-powermac and when I try to load a module for a card I don't have.
