Hi ! I've read this Thread about the Geode-Driver for the Chipset CX5530. In my Technical-Manual about a CPU-Board is written, that the chipset is "soundblaster 16 compatible" under MSDOS. I've tested this driver (snd-sb16), but i think this is not the best choice because my own program runs not very good. On my own machine, with a standard alsa-driver snd-card-ens1371 from the 0.9.x tree, this program runs very good. ;-). But the Standard alsa-tools i think, like arecord or aplay, runs very good with the CX5530 chipset and the snd-sb16 driver. Has anybody tested this combination ? What is at the moment the best solution for this chipset and the 0.9.x drivers ? Any suggestions ?
