I'd add also Yamaha YMF-744B [DS-1S Audio Controller] --
on Toshiba Tecra 8100 laptops -- that used to work with ALSA
0.5 but works randomly with newer versions. The OSS drivers
are fine. :)

This is directly equivalent to Intel's decision to follow AMD on the 64-bit
