[Alsa-devel] Debugging driver modules

2002-11-30 Thread Scott Bahling
Hello- I have a STAudio DSP24 mkII and I have noticed that recent changes(after NOV 13) in the CVS creates an ICE1712 driver that locks up my kernel. Instead of just complaining about this problem I thought I might try to narrow down the location in the driver that is causing the lockup. Does any

Hi, Remind me to NEVER try and update two systems at the same time again! I have compiled Linux 2.4.20 for my SMP box with very latest ALSA CVS modules. However, 2.4.20 deadlocked when I rebooted it and needed rescuing by the NMI watchdog. Unfortunately, I have not tried these ALSA modules with m

Ok, I've now tried both the 0.9.0rc6 and just built the latest version from cvs, neither module works. I am running Slackware and have compiled both the 2.4.20 (SMP) kernel and the modules using the standard 2.95.3 20010315 (release) gcc. "lspci -v" gives: 02:04.0 Multimedia audio controller: C-M
