Hello
Has the intel8x0 driver been made accept only 48khz for playback? I always
used 44.1, and wouldn't mind continuing to do so. Also, it really baffled
me at first that it would accept 44.1 for capture, but not playback. Would
someone care to explain, if this is how its meant to work?
Thank

I got the impression the rate of intel8x0 has been recently fixed at
48khz? Anyway, this is an Asus A7N8X Deluxe with nForce2 SoundStorm
onboard audio. ALSA-lib is

Hello,
There is a problem with alsa-driver with versions >=
0.9.7 on my card SIS7012; the last working version was
0.9.6. All further versions have too fast playback,
and sending option "ac97_clock=48000" does not change
anythin. Actually, it does changes, but not that I
expected - playback is sti

Greetings -
I have an ABIT AN7 motherboard with an nForce2 audio controller. The
AC97 chip is an ALC658, and the patch from ac97_patch.c from 1.30 to

This card has an ESS Maestro-1 (a.k.a AGOGO / es1948) APU.
But unlike the consumer cards (which use a low quality ac'97 codec) this
card uses nicer CS4222 codecs for better sound. The current drivers only

There is no driver for this currently, but I am wo
