Subject: [Alsa-devel] Some info about the Edirol UA-3 FX
Hallo,
I tested the Edirol UA-3
I am using an Edirol UA-1X with the standard Demudi-kernel (version 2.4.22
with ALSA 0.9.8). While I also see the default id I do not have the
problems which you describe. I have also successfully used the UA-1X with
SuSE 8.2.
I have not yet really tried to use it with a 2.6 kernel and a newer
Immediately after receiving your mail I have registered two times for mantis
accounts using two different account names (andreas and andreas2). I have

It is a cheap and widely available card however,
at least here in the UK, and was wondering if anyone
was working on support.
Did you ask Philips?
In response to the recent discussions on alsa-user (regarding complaints
about the state of ALSA) I would like to make two suggestions:
1. Decide which bugtracking system should be used.
Currently there is one for ALSA at Sourceforge (see
(suggestions?).
