[Alsa-user] Compile Alsa in 64Bit environment

Hi, simple question: Is there any way, to compile Alsa in a 64-Bit (especially AMD64) environment? To compile alsa-drivers is no problem, alsa-lib on the other hand won't and therefor alsa-utils also. Is there a patch? A special sources-package? Greetings Alexanxer crock Surma

Hi all, I am running Suse 10 (64bit) and am trying to install the ALSA USB drivers so i can get a Plantronics DSP headset running... I received the following error when running ./configure;make;make install any ideas? Michael checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c
