Good day gents, i have realy obviouse problem with sound, 1. I can't record sound in audacity and can't use skype for communication because it not capture my voice. 2. The biggest issue in games under wine,(i've try a lot) sound very distorted. Will be appreciated for help, thanks -- Andrey

I built a MythTV front end based around a J7F2WE1G2E motherboard, and then later swapped to a EN12000EG motherboard. The former uses a VT1617A chip for audio. The later uses VT1618. With the VT1617A based board SPDIF worked perfectly, but with the VT1618 based board I get nothing from SPDIF. I'm u
