xine uses xine-lib-1.1.17 .
xine-lib uses alsa.
1. I insert a music CD in the tray.
2. I call xine.
3. I press the CD playback button.
No underrun audible.
4. I press the eject button to open the tray.

I am in the midst of attempting duplex audio (capture and playback) on an Atmel
9260 board with a dumb codec attached, Linux-2.6.28.8. I must first state that
