Has anything recently changed, that would affect digital pass through?
I brought my Fedora 6 system up to date, unfortunately,
I am unsure what the previous version was. I had digital pass through
working flawlessly. After updating, now, nothing is
passed through to my receiver. Typically,

After I use an application IE: mplayer to view an mpeg and exit
mplayer then attempt to run mplayer again there is no sound.
If I reload the alsa modules using FC `/etc/init.d/alsasound restart`
mplayer will produce sound once again.
Basically:
1. `mplayer -ao alsa:device=hw=0.2
