Hi all, I was wondering how much support is currently in alsa for the ALC889a. I have two problems that I am trying to get to the bottom of.
1. I can't seem to control the CD-in capture. I have 3 capture sliders, all named 'Capture', but when recording I get nothing from the CD input. 2. HDMI audio is not working. Although this actually appears as a second sound device which is part of the 780G HD3200 IGP, so may not be related to the ALC889a. I can live without 2. at the moment as I am using the D-Sub instead, but I would really like to get the CD-in capture working.
