I build alsa recently and I can record and send midi signals too and
from my keyboard.
I wanted to be able to send midi signals to a soft synth so I decided to
rebuild alsa with my soundcard as well as my USB-Midi input (a midisport
2x2)
When I build and install the driver with:
The directions i located on the site instructed me to run:
./configure --with-cards=usb-audio --with-sequencer=yes
but when i do i get:
checking for which soundcards to compile driver for... Unknown soundcard
usb-audio, exiting!
This is while trying to build the alsa-driver-0.5.12a
