I noticed that some of my delays are caused by the graphic
display. I noticed that I can play tribes2 if I close gkrellm
before the game. But while the game is running in windowed mode,
if I just go to an Eterm and type enter, for each enter that I type
the sound will cut. When I'm not runni

I first booted my new kernel, I don't think I was getting

This is strange, I'm not familiar with konsole since I don't use KDE,
but I use enlightenment with transparent eterm, maybe there is something to do
with the window manager. What exactly does this frambuffer thing do in konsole?
I upgraded to 2.4.19-pre3 last night and still the same problem. I

With or without the low-latency I don't have any dropout now
I'm also seeing this on Red Hat, 2.4.9-31.

problem? The symptoms sound similar to those for
latency problems.
Have a look at this for more details.

to be way worse in mplayer and also when playing tribes2 where it
just constanly shutters.I have an es1371 at work where I installed
the same version of alsa but t
