Hi Juan
I've been using a Delta 1010 for a few years and prior to that a delta 66, I've never had these issues. ALSA seems to allow playback of any file and it will control the cards output rate. I never really touch that setting at all regardless of the sample rate of the file.

Use the dshare plugin, or dmix if you want to play multiple files to
