I'm trying to digitize some audio, using audacity. The signal goes into the line input of a Soundblaster Live card. I don't hear anything on the speakers, and no audio appears in audacity. Changing the mixer settings doesn't have any effect. Otherwise sound works fine; xmms and RealPlayer both

Hi, I'm having trouble sending midi events between my soundcard and my keyboard (piano, not querty), and I'm thinking that maybe I have a faulty midi cable or something. I wondering what is the lowest level test you can run? Something like this?... # amidi -l DeviceName hw:1,0MPU-401
