freebob? I have freebob in the repositorys of kubuntu, but libffado
not, and I really don't like installing software from source, because
most of the time it doesn't work, when I try it.
And let me ask one more
I find the accepted sound boards list a bit confusing. I am using a
built in Realtek 1200 8 channel device on an Asus P5Q motherboard
producing no sound on Ubuntu 8.10 and can`t ascertain if the sound card
is acceptable. If not, what is recommended as a reliable unit? Very
grateful for any advice.
