In order to try out Rosegarden, I installed the ALSA v0.9.0rc7 drivers.
(I'm running RedHat 7.3, kernel 2.4.18-3, on an i586, with an ISA PnP
ESS 1869-based sound card). Trying to run Rosegarden on a computer with
a 500Mhz CPU may be wishful thinking, but that's another story...
