deactivated KDE sound daemon artsd and the things
have changed:
-xine doesn't failed right now. However sound on SPDIF
is really broken. It is more noise than sound. Also my AV receiver is not able
to recognise this stream.

2.6.17 kernel, alsa-lib-1.0.13, alsa-utils-1.0.13, CMedia USB sound
