i would like to ask you for any experience with snd-usb-audio module
and this board:

Friends had some issues, basically can't set hw params and initiate
playback, with this interface and i would like to help them.

yesterday i had a chance to try new Zodiac Platinum DAC
(http://www.antelopeaudio.com/en/products/Zodiac-Platinum-DSD-DAC-DA-Converter)
at my friend's studio. I was really excited to check it out with Linux
and MPD, because it supports DoP (DSD over PCM), which i never tried
before.
I'm sorry, i forgot to attach aplay output with hw and sw params
during playback.

Not that DSD support is currently only proven to work with DACs from
Playback Designs. That was the only device I could test this with, so
