The Annual General Meeting of the Ontario Amateur Softball Association is soon approaching on Saturday, November 24 at the Best Western Cobourg Inn and Convention Centre. Several workshops are planned for the morning with the AGM starting promptly at 1 p.m. There will be much discussion at the meeting regarding the new fee structure Softball Canada is imposing. We will also be honouring the best of our best who won Canadians and Eastern Canadians as well as those pitchers that threw no-hitters. More information can be found at www.oasa.ca. Received: 11/7/06 9:33:05 AM From: Gary Wren Subject: OASA AGM OSHAWA, ON The Ontario Amateur Softball Association will be hosting their Annual General Meeting and Convention at the Best Western Durham Convention Centre in Oshawa from Friday November 17 to Sunday November 19, 2006. Registration will begin at noon on Friday November 17 with a delegate reception starting at 8:00pm. On Saturday, there will be exhibits and presentations on Sports Medicine, 2007 Amendments and Tournaments, Scorekeeping and Operating a Fastball Team. Starting at 1:00pm on Saturday the Annual General Meeting will be conducted and beginning at 6:30pm the Annual Awards Banquet.
