I'm new to amanda, I think my problem is with security;
Host_A is the backup server and Host_B is the client to be backed up.
I have the following problem;
bash-2.05$ amcheck -c daily
Amanda Backup Client Hosts Check
ERROR: Host_B: [host Host_A: port 32782 not sec
I don't want to mirror I want to stripe and the are on the same scsi
chain as the library.

ones that were working?
I had a problem with using tar on a big filesystem and the estimate
would always time-out.
if the new disk is bigger by a great deal try doubleing the etimeout

thanks for you quick reply Jean-Louis,
I've looked at the debug file. It seems to be giving me an error
about a unary operator expected. I was getting this same error when I
had a bad CHANGER.conf file. I have pasted both the errors and the
CHANGER.conf file bellow.

Jean-Louis
No result for estimate level 0!
Did the planner asker for level 0 estimate? (REQ packet form amandad.debug)
guess I'm not sure I know how to answer that question, but some output
from amandad.debug that my answer it for me:
Amanda 2.4 REQ HANDLE 000-000549D0 SEQ 1038837189

Hello all I sent this awhile back and I am sure
there is someone out there who can answer it.

tapes are labeled correctly. The first tape scanned w
Normally, I'd try the FAQ... but.
In my backups I do 3 directories on a large disk via tar, which has
historically worked fine. Last week, I added a fourth directory with
tar, and now I cannot get a backup of one of the dirs!
To make more sense of that
