Is there any way to rerun a failed amanda run on the same tape? For example, my monthly run on tape Monthly3 failed completely and didn't even finish the estimates. It did write the first header though, so last months dumps are gone. But now it is asking for Monthly1. I want to rerun the

Nigel, I believe the only problem with labeling the cleaning tape is that you can't readilly check the tape label. Cleaning tapes are really physical device that emulate the SW device /dev/null, useful for some applications. That is what they do afterall, absorbe all the left over bits on the
