I would like to know how an amanda RPM can be installed with the option of a special
port range for firewalling rules. e.g udp port range 890-895. How exactly has the

It is no problem:
Just say disklist on the amrecover-prompt, and after choosing the
disk you would like to recover, do a setdisk.

yup. anyway, compression is off now (and was already set to none
when I sent this one).
Drive hardware compression usually has a mind of its own. In
particular, many drives look at the header, and set the compression
on if the tape has ever been written to with the compression turned

labled the tapes Monday - Friday. In the case like Monday which was a
