amdump -o tapetype=mytapetype
or maybe you mean
amdump -o tapetype:LTO4:blocksize=2048

I tried just blocksize 2043 with the same result.
Is there a way to manually define the tapetype from the command line and echo
the results of each command?
Is there some kind of config command to check a configuration status?

This may take a while. I went to the step on setting up the amanda
user and the niutil command is no longer there.
I guess I have to think more about this and learn more about my Mac.

Just an FYI for you all, since I didn't see a good place to put it on
the wiki:
Amanada has been working fine for me since 10.5 (now on 10.5.4) using
SSH connections/authentication. I have not tested bsd auth, but the
amanda client itself is fine.

As far as I know. My machines
I just got a MacBook Pro (10.5.4) and I want to add it as a client on
my Amanda server.
I looked at

Hi,
No worries - I thought maybe my question was obvious to the point of not
being worthy a reply... :)
Paul Bijns did point out to me that the starttime parameter would be the
one to try, so I will do that. Here's what he said:
The dumpers are not spread in order of the disklist. You cannot

starting from largest to smallest, which will work just fine for me.
