amcheck and backup failing

ON my exciting installation with no changes (well I added some Windows clients). Several machines now are timing out on amcheck, and on the backup run. The machines seem to be somewhat variable, but I picked one that seems to be a consistent bad actor Here is the debug file from an amcheck this

I read in the docs for the Windows client that if snapshot mode was available, it could back up open databses corectly. OK, so this leads to a couple of questins. 1. How can O determine if this mode is avaialble/being used? 2. Does this include MS'es SQL database? 3. How about the mySql instnace
