Compiling amanda with config files on different location

Hello users, currently now I compile amanda so that configuration are stored in /etc/amanda/DailySet1 etc. Is there any possibility to change this location to something like /var/lib/amanda/CONF What is configuration directory --with-configdir used for? Any idea how to solve a this problem.
