However, the issue now is the attempt to write the output to the X11 terminal:

gnuplot: X11 aborted.
Not sure what all that's about. So I'm doing a bit of hacking on the
gnuplot script to have it write the results out to a png file.
Did you succeed? ;-)
I currently try to use amplot on Debian 11.5 and get a ps file where the
margins don't match the text etc
I also think of generating a png-file after every amdump run and mailing
it as well.
