The filemark 0 kbytes just doesn't look right to me.
Does anyone else have something else for a DLT7000?

Does anyone know why amandad would not be going away after being used?
I'm trying to back up my server from itself (crescent) and am getting
this:
ERROR: NAK crescent: amandad busy
Also, one other client is giving the same error.
The /etc/inetd.conf entry looks like this:
amanda dgram udp wait
can offer. I emailed the author but
got no response.

We're considering doing our backups to raid systems
now instead of to tape libraries. Does anyone have
any positive or negative comments or experiences
with the scenario that they are willing to share?
(and is this even possible with amanda?)
Thanks,

and moved the var directory for this
config to another disk, but the backups were not running
at that time. The strange thing is, this isn't happening
for all the Windows 2000 clients, just some.
Backing up manually with smbclient to disk works fine.
Any ideas?

I use Debian but build from source, that way you get the build
options that you want. If you want to use the pre-built packages,
you should check with the package maintainer to find out what build
options he used.

mordor), you might try spreading the load by changing disklist.
Note that those PC's will then look new to Amanda and so full dumps
will be required to get started unless you mess around with the database.
