We are just about to start on the upgrade of our Linux file server. When
we are done, it will have:

I would say that it depends on your
storage space :-) The ration, if compressed
should not be calculated 1:2. A better
estimate would be 1:1,5 or even lower.
I would do my calculation on the amount
of the disc not on the capacitiy utilised at the
moment.
