stopping estimates if machine goes off-line

Hello, Does anyone know how to 'tell' amanda to stop gathering estimates of a PC if it goes off-line/crashes? Overall, I would like for amanda to bypass the particular PC if the estimates are taking too long and continue with the rest of the dump. Thanks again, Eric
