I'm using mtx in solaris to work with amanda. mtx command to the changer
all works fine. But when I tried it with chg-zd-mtx -info or use it in
changer glue script in amanda.conf then use amcheck, I get the same error
messag:

When I use amrecover to recover file, if the tape that contains those files
isn't in the drive, it will crap out even though it asks me if I want to
mount that tape, and I said Yes. It seems like 'amrecover' forgets to issue

Well, at least I would like to see an option to choose from, manual load or
changer load. I for one, have my backup device at remote location. I
usually can't find anyone to mount the tape for me, so using a changer is a
must. I understand I can issue mtx command when 'amrecover' asks for
delete log directory's content, index directory's content(if you setup
index), and the file tapelist, then amanda will run fresh from scratch
again.
