recent amanda on Debian?

Does anyone use amanda 3.4.2 packages on debian jessie already? Which one, do they work? I have to switch OS on a backup server and want to stay with amanda-3.4.x because I need some of the latest features ... self-compile, you know ... I can do but I'd like to avoid. lower maintenance.
