In my case is to duplicate the locals vtapes into a remote S3
endpoint, for purposes of reliability in case of disaster. If I have
50 locals vtapes, I want to have the same 50 vtapes on S3, on a amvault.

system disk to became read-only.
What logs should I investigate? Because this is a personal

I am currently successful in using it for amvault into a S3 storage,
ceph back-end.
The only problem that I see is with a very big installations of
amanda, were if some hosts fails it cascade into much more fails.
Jean-Louis is on it and have provided patchs to solve the problem.

What you describe is what I see when I do not use chunks. The last
backup to the last vtape will be transfered again to vtape on next
amdump or amflush.
