Hi Everyone
I have an issue that I come across all the time with clamav and amavisd.
Constantly the clamd.sock at startup takes at leat 15 - 20 mins to
appear. Sometimes it wont appear at all. I have checked clamd.log and
found no issues there.
Does anyone have any idea what is causing this
Im using clamav-0.90.3p1.tgz

That's your problem I'd say.
Upgrade to 0.93
(or wait a little while for 0.93.1)

It should work. There are other ways to whitelist:

You hit the nail on the head mate. I was running an older version of
amavis. Strange part is the example conf file that came with it included
the code for dsn, so thats where i had the mistake, I upgrade to 2.5.1
and it works a treat

Hi there
I am having problems with spamassassin and amavisd on openbsd 3.7.
Basically the mta accepts mail and checks it for viruses using clamav
but it doesn't register any hits for spam.
Amavis version: amavisd-new-2.3.2
Spamassasin vers: p5-Mail-SpamAssassin-3.0.2
