One reason for the inflated performance might be the following: How exactly do
you want to cover on close? If it is a daily time-frame you hardly will be able
to do it. You will know the PositionScore after the close, but wont be able to
cover on those prices.

I would suggest that it's actually better to put all settings in code. Relying
on AA settings is error prone. One forgotten tweak and your results are all
garbage, without even realizing it!
If you do any kind of development, what-if scenarios, etc. it is very easy to
forget to return an AA
The Close can be approximated towards the end of the trading day in order to
calculate the PositionScore. Once calculated, many brokers offer Market On
Close (MOC) trade support.

Herman,
I tried to use the OLE interface from within AFL to export an image using a
ParamTrigger. But, I could not get it to work. There have been numerous posts
and examples in the documentation saying that it *should* work. But, for me it
simply would not :(
So, the work around that *does*
According to the documentation, they always exist. It's just a matter of
whether or not they've been initialized to anything other than null. You can
try comparing to null if that gets you what you want.

Alternate identity, that's funny ;)
I believe that you cannot create shorter arrays nor longer ones. If you don't
want values for unused elements, set them to null.
e.g.
Prices = IIF(Status(barinrange), Close, null);
Plot(Prices, Prices, colorDarkGrey, styleLine);

Then the results more or less depend on the accuracy of ones approximation. 20
minutes is quite a lot of time, especially at the end of the session.
Do you have any experience with MOC orders? Are they realized exactly at the
closing price? Is there any slippage?
I don't have any experience

i've had exactly the same issue, i even contacted AB support. My

YOU SHOULD NOT do that !
If you are using ANY other price than OPEN anywhere in your
calculation/formula,
your SetTradeDelays should be:
SetTradeDelays( 1, 1, 1, 1 );
OR
you should DELAY manually all signals using

You may need to use bars with finer resolution.
Any assumptions of the order of any prices other than Open and Close are
unreliable. Conservative trading system design assumes that prices happen
in the order that is least favorable to the trader.
For any single bar, you know four

Yahoo offers (on the web page) group data. So you can select the various
groups and check the charts. I entered one of the symbols for the group chart

I work on 2 min bars and 10 min bars.Buy / Sell trade signals are generated

I would like to shift the buy/sell trade signals to the end of 10 min bar.
That is, if the trade is generated at 10.16 hrs, the signal should be shifted
to 10.20 (or 10.19.59 hours to be precise)
