 Hello everybody.

Is there a way to change the clone detection in AmIRC? At the
moment the clone detection functions for the host. But when you
have a channel where cgi-irc is used, all the hosts are the same,
only the user-ident is different. So I need to check for that
 instead of the host.
Well per definition a clone is something that joins from the same
host. But afair you can disable the clone check, so just do that
 before.

(Doing clonechecks using the ident as well is a waste of time.)

Disabling the check is not a satisfying solution. But it would be
helpful to have the posibility to configure the clone check, like
you can do with the Ban dialogue.
I assume you mean the banmask dialog and enable the use of ident
aswell. So i'll say this once more, clone checking with ident is a
 waste of time.

IE, Disable it or live with it since you'll live with a false sense
of security if you think that the clone checker will catch ANY
 clones.

Hello Morten

The new version amirc 3.0 already has clone detection
available... as for an auto script don't know of any as
yet.
