How does one add SO-67 to the SatPC32 sqf, files to make the software track and
control the radio for doppler. I found SO-67 in the Wisat32 and up it in the
available Sats to use and I copy/pasted and edited a file for this Sat in the
SatPC32 sqf.doppler files and it shows up as avialble and
Ladies Gentlemen,
Here's the main thing to think about ITAR. ITAR regulates OUTFLOW of
information, it doesn't care about INFLOW of information. If you build
or design it by a non-US Person (Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident)
and you bring it INTO the US, ITAR does not care. So AMSAT-NA can

Tks for collecting and assembling all the data, Jeff.
I've got a trip lined up to Texas in January with DL88 as the primary
target. Your list confirms what I'd already expected to see, and I'll do
what I can to put a dent in those numbers by operating from a bunch of
grids on your list in DL,

That's woefully incorrect on many fronts.

Alex,
A good post. We are indeed adapting to the Brave New World of ITAR, and we
are not alone in that. At a recent SmallSat meeting I attended, there was
even a tutorial for companies large and small, large being the size of
Boeing. It was about how to work with and around ITAR if you are
Can anyone who is running a Uni_Trac 2000 or 2003 zip me up your .sat files
and send them to me by chance? My directory seems to be missing these and I
can¹t get it to create even one for an example. I¹m working on it, but the
easy solution would be if someone can send me the files they use.
Alex et. al, I would like to add in a comment that according to the latest
SBIR release from DoD (many organizations), ITAR compliant persons who are
not US Citizens can also be included in DoD funded commercial research
projects, as long as they are correctly registered and supervised under the

Probably not.
Adding some descriptive term to your call is likely to be acted upon only by
those interested in, or with an
understanding of, your term. It just wastes time.
Add roving to your call and my response will likely be so what?

Interesting stuff Alex.
I'm currently working on an FM satellite station as that's all I can
afford at present but I hope some of the NextGen birds will carry linear
transponders too. At any rate, it all sounds very exciting.

PocketSat+ also runs very nicely in the Garnet Virtual Machine on my Nokia N810

Garnet VM; it's supposed to expire in a couple of weeks, and their website

Hi Michael,
When the display dies, does the rest of the box keep working? If the whole
thing dies, then I'd suspect the 7805 (5v) power supply. Does the 7805 get
hot? If so, that's the problem; they have a built-in thermal shutdown for
over-temp and/or over-current. What sort of heat sink
After several years of activating Eagle Harbor Lighthouse (EN57) without HTs or
an Arrow antenna, we were asked by the local hams in upper Michigan why we
don't operate on the satellites anymore. We are now planning on bringing our
sat gear in August 2010 to activate at least EN57 and EN67.
