The dimple in the magnetic field also has control consequences for
spacecraft which use active magnetic torquing. The HST had to account for
it when planning pointing shifts, especially during long duration exposures.

A Ham from Ireland asked me about some issues he was having with his base rig
when working the V/U birds. Since I have have had limited experience using

Hi Zachary,
He is probably experiencing receiver desense
which is a common problem trying to work V/U (mode J)
satellites.

Hello folks,
I need an help if possible.
I own a TNC3S that I bought when there was the birds at 38k4.
As there wasn't any more birds working on that velocity, I have stored the

Now I see that the AO-51 has the possibility to be worked on that velocity,
I mean I should hear it on 435 MHZ at
Congratulations Zach! Thanks for being out there as well when you have gone
on your trips. I wholeheartedly agree that thanks are due to all those who
have made it possible for us to work so many grids in addition to their own

My congrats as well Zach. My Sat VUCC was #125 dated March 21, 2003.
Not that many issued in that time frame ... quite suprising.
Many probably have it but just haven't applied.

Hi!
I'm back home after a quick 30-hour trip to Kingman in northwestern

that city. It was a great time! The Mohave Amateur Radio Club, the
